A founding member of Gerber Taylor in 1990, Mr. Pickens is responsible for advising a broad base of Gerber Taylor’s clients with a focus on institutions. Mr. Pickens is also a member of the firm’s Asset Allocation Committee. He entered the investment industry immediately after receiving a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Memphis.
R. Andrew Taylor
A founding member of Gerber Taylor in 1990, Mr. Taylor has worked in the investment industry since 1983. He serves on the executive committee of the firm and is focused on client relationships. Mr. Taylor is a founding board member of Promise Academy, a charter school in Memphis, TN. He received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Tennessee. After college, Mr. Taylor served as an Officer and Pilot in the U.S. Army for six years.
Mr. Robbins joined Gerber Taylor in 1994 and focuses on client service and developing client relationships. He advises clients on a wide variety of investment issues including guiding them on their asset allocation decisions. Mr. Robbins earned a B.S. in Business Administration, with an emphasis on finance, from the University of Arkansas.
Mr. Kinnear joined Gerber Taylor in 2010 and focuses on client service and developing client relationships. Prior to Gerber Taylor, he was a Sr. Vice President and Principal at Skyhawk Capital Management, LLC. Prior to that, he was the Head of Global Manager Research for the Americas Region of Deutsche Bank and an analyst in the Investment Group at Hewitt Associates. Mr. Kinnear received a B.S. in Finance from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst and the Certified Financial Planner designations.
Mr. Milnor joined Gerber Taylor in 1999 and focuses on client service and developing client relationships. He advises clients on a wide variety of investment issues including guiding them on their asset allocation decisions. Mr. Milnor graduated from University of Memphis with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance.
J. Barton Reid
Mr. Reid joined Gerber Taylor in 2001. He is responsible for day to day oversight of client portfolios which includes client communications, asset allocation reviews, manager implementations and report preparation. Prior to joining Gerber Taylor he worked for the Assisi Foundation of Memphis. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration with concentrations in Finance, Marketing, and Business Law.
Mrs. Mallory joined Gerber Taylor in 2010 to focus on client service and investor relations. Prior to Gerber Taylor, she served as the Treasurer and Controller of the University of Mississippi Foundation. Previously, Mrs. Mallory was a Tax Manager at Deloitte and a Senior Tax Accountant with Arthur Andersen, LLP. Mrs. Mallory received a Bachelor of Accountancy degree from the University of Mississippi; she is a Certified Public Accountant.
